Stingy Jack's Samhain Lock-Out Curse ~ Every Door Bolted on Halloween Night ~ Heaven Refuses Them, Hell Turns Them Away ~ Jobs, Homes, Friends and Lovers Close Against the Trickster ~ Left Wandering With Only an Ember

They tricked their way into everything. On Halloween, every door slams shut.

On Saturday, October 31, the Sun burns in Scorpio, the sign of death, rebirth and hidden power. The waning Moon moves through Cancer, ruler of home, family and the deepest feelings, and in the early evening Eastern time it goes void of course, slipping loose from the ordinary rules until just after midnight. Mercury is retrograde in Scorpio until November 13, pulling buried secrets and old business back to the surface, and Venus is retrograde in Libra, reopening every question of love, fairness and what is owed. This is Samhain, the Witches' New Year, when the veil between the living and the dead is at its thinnest.

Stingy Jack was the Irish drunkard and cheat who tricked even the Devil, trapping him with a cross and making him promise never to take Jack's soul. When Jack finally died, Heaven would not take such a liar, and the Devil kept his word and would not let him into Hell. He was sent back into the darkness with nothing but a glowing coal in a hollowed turnip, doomed to wander forever with every door shut against him. He became Jack of the Lantern. This curse gives the trickster in your life Jack's fate.

Very effective for:

• A con artist who talks their way into every opportunity
• A cheating ex charming their way into new relationships
• A user who moves from friend to friend
• A freeloader who won't leave your life or home

• A trickster who keeps escaping consequences
• An abusive person being welcomed in your community
• A predator getting new jobs or housing after harming people
• A fake friend turning your circle against you

Unchecked, the trickster keeps finding new doors to slip through, and new victims behind every one.
